Skills Tank Supports Adults with Learning Difficulties

Employees from Apollo Site B are purchasing food on a regular basis from Skills Tank; a sepcialist Training and Development College that supports adults with learning difficulties. The centre offers a wide range of fresh food ( hot and cold meals), cakes and drinks; in addition to weekly planned luch menus. Employess can either choose to eat at the cafe based at Silica Road, or have the food delivered to site.
Skills Tank aims to enhance the lives of each of their students and integrate them into the wider community. Students are encouraged to take part in the preparation of of the food. Several employees at Site B joined together to buy food production equipment in order to assist Skills Tank with this aim.
